WANTED ORIGINAL STYLE RADIATOR HOSE CLAMP
« on: November 13, 2013, 10:37:12 AM »
I'm looking for 1 or 2 original style radiator hose clamps. The ones on the car have the number " A 10 1/2 "  on them. I'm not online much so just email me direct. Thanks for your help.

The original style clamps were the nut and bolt type; as long as the diameters & overall size match, great.  They are a bit harder to work with than the "expansion" type used later on, but that do the job.

Thanks for the info. But I'm doing a ground up body from the frame restoration and trying to make this car 100% correct just as it came off the line. I have clamps but they have some rust pitts on them and i don't want that. I'm being very picky. Please I know someone has one

Also, the late Ron Meditz used to sell them. I believe Mike Barker does now so you may want to check with him.

Thanks for the replies. I've tried to email Seth Jones and even called him a few times, but no reply. I'll call Mike Barker and see what he has. Is it worth all of this to restore a car? Sometimes I wonder.... i want this car to be a close to original as I can make it... That's a lot of work and time. I'm doing it all, no outside shops for me.
