I visited the Ypsilanti Museum this month the fist link above are some pictures of the museum. I was very impressed with the layout of the KF cars right as you walk in to the Museum. I voted for it and after seeing it I am glad I did. I urge any that can go to go, it is worth seeing.

The second link is pictures of Lowell Johnsons regional KF meet.

The third link is the KF regional in Sublet IL.

I was able to attend these events and visit the Museum this year. We had a great time this summer.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Is that not similar to the fact that anything in the KF historical library is not owned by KFOCI??

You are SO right Lee..........   It's not about politics - it's about keeping the K/F marque alive and in the eyes
of the public.  I rarely post to this site - but I do monitor it - and seeing the snide comments that are often posted
tells me there are a LOT of folks in this club who need to realize this is the kind of thing that drives members away.
We're not collecting Packards or Buicks here - and we need to do everything positive we can to entice people
to experience and want to own the orphans of Willow Run.

Jim Lape has put a lot of hard work into this museum effort and maybe - just maybe - someday the self centered
members of this club will realize it.   I rarely go to any of the meets any longer and I had to really think hard
about whether I wanted to even renew my membership this year - and for someone who has been around
these cars since they were new in the showroom and also the fact that I own over 40 K/F products - that's a
sad testament.

So from me Lee...... Again - I say thanks for not only your thoughtful comments - but also taking the time to
post the pictures.   You're the kind of member we need many more of.

Thanks Dave
I have been in the club since the 60's I have been active since 2005. I have been tempted to quit but my wife and I have enjoyed most of the members we have met. KF people seem to be different sometimes in a good way and sometimes not so good. That has been true for every club I have been associated with. It is just the nature of the beast. I urge every member and future member to find the members they click with it can be very enjoyable. Don't let a few drive you away. It is a small club and we need All the members we can get. There are allways people who think they know what is best for the club but will not step up and do the work.
It allways reminded me of the time I coached a little league teem, all the parents told me how to manage the team but when I asked for help at practice I never could get any of them to help. Same with clubs.
All I can say is
Go KF
