Sill plates

Looking for  2 door aero sill step plates , metal or rubber anything that will hold the carpet down.

I bought an aluminum set from Duane Hayes a couple years ago, got the impression he may have had another on his parts cars, at that time. Never seen the rubber ones turn up. I know a tool & die maker that said he could make the mold for reproduction rubber but I didn't think I'd ever sell enough to break even.

I sent him an email ,see what happens . Also have another source that made new ones for my 51 K 2dr ,just got their contact info from a friend today .

The rubber ones were for 1952 & 1953 & the early 1954's. Aluminum was on the regular run 1954's and all the 1955's.

Try Door Sills LLC at 973.423.119six. Ask for Don, he is located in NJ and I've seen his work...excellent quality. If you've ever been to the AACA meet at Hershey, he's there with a large sample of available sills.

I talked to them , he is just now working on orders from last june so he's about six months out .
