Hi Gang...

I'm honored to welcome the newest Kaiser-Frazer Club Member - Art Flores.  Art recently took on a new car and project which is a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan.  See attached photos of Art and his car.

Art wants to modernize his car by changing the chassis to a more modern long-wheelbase Chevrolet S-10 pickup.  I understand this has been done before and wonder if there is anyone out there who Art could talk to about the steps he'll need to take to make this change.

I'll show Art how to use this discussion board so he can jump in and respond to any posts himself, and I can help as well in terms of communication.

Thanks for any help the club can lend Art and have a great new year.

Hi Terry...

Kaiser Manhattan is 118.5 inches...has to be close to that which is how he narrowed it to the version of S10....

All help is appreciated :-)

Look at measurements of 1972 Grand Prix as compared to 51-55 Kaisers.

Full size Chevy from the 90s is a closer fit. The wheelbase of a 95 Impala for example is 115.9 inches. At least one club member has mounted a 54K on one.
