bearings and tappets
« on: June 15, 2015, 03:41:43 PM »
Why are bearings and tappets going so high on ebay?  Maybe they are bidding on the boxes.

Many sellers on eBay don't know what they are offering other than the parts are old and they believe you can't get them anymore so they have to be worth a lot of money.  That's why being a member of the KFOCI can save people restoring cars a lot of $$$ because they know where to find parts at much better prices (I see the man who's tried to sell a 1949 Kaiser Clock for $250.00 has cut his price to just over $200.00; it's still more than $150.00 too high in my opinion).
