Some questions about a Kaiser Frazer 1949
« on: February 15, 2008, 03:07:37 PM »
Hi!

I wonder the price of a collector car - 1949 Kaiser Frazer Deluxe 4D sedan - in good original condition?
Any clue or sites/links to find more info about the price of a car like that?

Happy for any Suggestion

/Kristian.

Hi Kristian, first of all, is it a Kaiser or a Frazer? They are two different cars and two different values.
Generally speaking, a 1949 Frazer is more fancy and more rare than a 1949 Kaiser and will have a higher value.

NADA has a website where you can look up the value of collector cars but again, that's only a guideline.
The real value is determined by what someone that wants one is willing and able to pay for it.
Let me know if this helps you. I'm sure there are others who can point you at some resources too.
Manheim Gold has a good website too if I'm not mistaken but again, it depends on the model and make (Kaiser or Frazer).

As Fid said, first thing we need to know is if it's a Kaiser or Frazer. Knowing which model, Vagabond, Custom, Manhattan, Special, etc. would help, too. Rough estimate would be $2000.00-$4000.00 if it is a good runner and just needs some minor stuff done to be a reliable driver. Options matter since they raise the price over a plainer car. A Frazer would be worth $200.00-$400.00 more than a Kaiser for a car in the same condition. Hope this helps. Steve
