What carrier have you found to be the best at the most reasonable price?

I've used Intercity Lines, Passport Transport and Horseless Carriage - all major carriers.   For my money I'll go with Intercity Lines.  They have hauled nine cars for me and I have never had an issue.   It also needs to be mentioned these folks really don't want to haul non-running cars or cars that leak fluids.   If they do accept a non runner there will be an extra charge for it.   I've also had a few dealers ship cars to me on open carriers and I do NOT recommend doing that unless the car is rough to start with.  Stay away from companies that are only brokers and don't own their own trucks.    As far as pricing goes- cheap is never better when hauling a restored automobile.   The last coast to coast haul I had done was around two grand.

We've also used Intercity with very good results. Most recently Reliable has been, well, reliable. We sold a '58 Eldorado Biarritz to a man in Florida a few years ago, he decided to cheap out on shipping, I think he's still trying to get paid for the several thousands of dollars in damage! Larger companies are absolutely worth the added cost and peace of mind.

 Try TINAS,  They are a broker, I recently shipped a Studebaker Lark from Indiana to So Cal for $1000 AND they did it in 4 days!
