Hood prop rod clip needed
« on: September 20, 2015, 10:44:38 PM »
My 52 Corsair needs a new prop rod clip. If you have a spare, please email me as to how I may acquire. The pic shows what I currently have.
Thanks,
Shel

Thanks to Alan's (h-e-n-r-y-j on this forum) keen eye, a very close modern replacement has been identified.  This Jeep part is so close no will ever know the difference -

Almost and exact match and it will do the job.

Edgar Kaiser's custom 1951 Henry J
1951 Kaiser Special
1952 Allstate Deluxe

Please confirm if this part is the same as HJ. If correct, it will require no screw. Just push downward and it should lock in place. Your previously drilled-out hood support panel may cause issues with proper installation but the part should work. Good luck!
