Gilmore Museum

 Just thought I'd pass along that I donated my 54 Aero Lark to the Gilmore Museum. It is going to be part of their mentoring program and is supposed to go on display in the spring. If you have never been there, it is one of the best museums in the country. So technically they have a Kaiser

I've attended several shows at the complex and it is a well run operation. For anyone who's never been there, you owe it to yourself to visit. Their collection of pre-war vehicles is second to none and their post-war collection is growing as well.

 I would think it could be a good connection to make for the Museum in Ipsi.I don't know who it belonged to, but they did have a Darrin on display when I delivered the Lark. The is the program they told me the car will be part of http://www.gilmorecarmuseum.org/education/gilmore-garage-works/

There are many museums in the greater Detroit area as well as Lansing and Dearborn.  We could not see them all in a week!  We visited Gilmore recently as a part of the Shipshewana IN meet and it gets larger every year.

Hey great to see that. I will look for it in the Spring.

Actually the Gilmore Museum has had a 1949 Kaiser Virginian in their museum, at least since 2014 when I photographed it....

They also have a Darrin that was there  this fall when I dropped off the Aero.

 Got a copy of this current magazine from The Gilmore Museum/Classic Car Club of America. Nice to see one of our cars in a current publication. I look forward to seeing the Lark on display.
