Kaiser carpet

I know my '53 had a rubber mat type flooring, but it is in bad shape what are the options? Orginal or non-orginal?

I believe the KFOCI club has a stockpile of re-manufactured colored rubber flooring for the front of the 2nd-gen Kaiser.  The carpet for the rear anyway is also obtainable through the club manufacturing fund.  Hope this helps.
