Frazer owners instruction book
« on: September 24, 2016, 04:11:49 PM »
Bought this Frazer owner's instruction book on eBay.
Haven't seen one quite like it before.
Was this the first one printed after the Graham Paige Frazer version?

What you have is the typical '47/'48 Frazer owner's manual with the yellow cover missing. That happens a lot as the cover is  heavier and often works itself loose of the staples and falls off.

Here is the cover intact, and with cover opened - showing the first page.

I'm sure the back page of it will match the back page of this with cover open.

The Graham Paige Frazer manual along with the 1947 and 1948 version are all similar looking but have different text relating to the differences in the three models.A quick way to tell the difference in the '47-'48 editions are to check the tire size in the specs.  The early '47 cars had 6:50 15 tires while the '48's all had 7:10 15's.

The Graham Paige version  says "Graham Paige Motors" on the front instead of "Kaiser-Frazer."  I've seen maybe two of those. But as Gordie points out, if the cover is missing, there are other ways.
