As for the serial number it is k514-006170. The receipts I have date it's
custom tire and undercoating order to 9/30/1950
Purchase date of 10/09/1950
And the title issue date of 12/11/1950.
This makes it the 5,170th HJ Deluxe made for '51 (out of 40,000 +).
I can't find the document but I remember reading somewhere that the first 5,000 deluxe Henry Js were Aloha green so this is one of the first ones made that was not Aloha green. Being a car with the open steering column and not being Aloha green (picture of the tag indicates paint code 330, blue satin, so it is the original color) makes it a rare example. Too bad I have no place to put it.
