This visor has been sitting in my Dad's garage ever since the car was sold for scrap back in the 1960's. (I remember asking my dad many years ago why the car was scrapped- he said "the frame was rusted like a lace curtain!". It is still hard for me to believe a frame could rust that bad- being the car was only about 10 years old at the time. (OK, we do live in northern Michigan... but, still...)
Anyway, I was going to list this on ebay, but, I have belonged to forums like this for other vehicles, and I know the passion we have for our vehicles. I hope this part goes to someone who needs it. Would love to think that my Grandpa's favorite automobile manufacturer... assumed, since he owned more than one...(a 1947 and two 1951's) visor was going to live on adorning someone elses Kaiser almost 50 years later. He died in 1953...
The attachment parts that clamp to the roof are missing... The sunvisor is in very very good condition. More pics can be taken as requested. The metal in in good, the paint is in good shape, original matching color to the vehicle I believe.
