Kaiser Forum / Re: 1953 Kaiser color coded wiring diagram
« on: October 20, 2023, 05:19:39 PM »
This may already be on here, but I color-coded a 1953 Kaiser wiring diagram.
I did 3 versions: full, stripping much of the lighting, and then only lighting to help simplify it a bit.
There are some issues like "white wires," but hopefully these may be helpful for some!
are not all wiring diagrams color coded?

All wiring diagrams are color coded (ie, tell you the color/tracer of each wire) but not necessarily drawn "in color". I'm thinking when ebraysmith says "color coded" he means the wiring drawing is done in color as opposed to black and white.

Not mine, don't know anything about it, saw this on Facebook Marketplace. Link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/746663306946725?ref=marketplace_profile&referral_code=undefined

Ashland Ohio, $2000 or best offer. 1954 Kaiser special. It’s been sitting in the barn for the last 15 years, before that it was in a garage in West Virginia for years. Selling for my dad. Asking 2,000 O.B.O . Does not have a title but will provide a bill of sale.

324darrin, would love to see the vintage photo of #3 that you received, and a pic of that special license plate!

Great addition to the history of your car, received almost 70 years since the car was originally delivered! Amazing.

Hello Willys Tom1:
My LED headlights are so much brighter than the sealed beam headlights

DaveF, can you possibly tell us the specific part number(s) of your LED headlights, and what vendor you purchased them from? Thanks!

Here is a link to the CARS.TV episode on YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsPnC02RwoU

The Willys convertible appears twice, once near the beginning (around 2 min 13 seconds) and again for a longer period around 3 min 50 seconds.

Parts For Sale & Wanted / Re: 1949 KF gas pedal

If your are a member of the KFOCI you can run a free WANTED ad in the KFOCI MONTHLY BULLETIN newsletter.  For those unaware, being a member of the Forum is not the same thing as being a member of the club.  I say that because about 2/3 of the Forum's membership consists of non-KFOCI members who (based on how long they've been a Forum member) have no interest in joining the club.

It will be nice when the "sunset" provision is restored to this forum.

What is the "sunset provision"?
