Found this the other day.....it is a good history of Willys passenger cars and the Aero https://56packardman.com/2016/07/12/gear-head-tuesday-willys-aero/

Barnum:
Thanks for posting the 2 Willys Aero articles. I really enjoyed them. I have somewhere around home Special Interest Autos #15 which contained an article with similar information, featuring a 1954 Aero Eagle. The article went on to say critics called the 1955 Bermuda the "mishmash of 1955" in reference to the styling changes.
SIA #15 also had interesting articles on the 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, the 1932 Franklin Olympic (air cooled), V-16 Marmon Speedster and custom built linen-bodied 1934-35 Ford coupes.
Thanks again for posting the links.

Welcome.....it is nice to see others recognize the Aero. It was a very good car, ahead of its time.

The '54 Eagle in SIA #15 was a very low mileage original car, owned by Richard Carpenter, of the musical group. I got to examine this totally unaltered car many years ago, taking pictures of the original cloth inserts for the seats and other perishables. The car was sold about 30 years ago and went to Alaska if I remember correctly.
There have been several magazine articles about Aero history: Car Classics, Cars & Parts, Collectable Automobile. Charlotte Dayton's '55 4-door was a "Driveable Dream" car in Hemmings Classic Cars a few years back. There was also a comparison article in SIA with the Hudson Jet, Rambler and an Aero not long before the magazine was discontinued.

Here is an article on an Australian web page. https://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/car_info_willys_aero And another on a Canadian page. Just thought it worth having them here. http://www.autos.ca/classic-cars/motoring-memories-aero-willys-1952-1955/
