I have the fuel tank out of my '49. Should be the same. Will measure tonite.

The tank size is 35 1/4 X 21 1/2 x 7 1/2
Full dimension with the mounting rib around the outside of the tank is  36 3/4 X 24 3/4 X 7 1/2.
Can post pictures if needed.
