Head light bezels/rims are '52? Rear fenders have chrome '53 fins.

A '52 would have outside trunk hinges so I'm betting it's a '53 which had different head light rings (they were used on a number of cars) installed on it.

Now that is an interesting find. I have seen few 53 Manhattan 2 doors put here by members since an onyx one which was pretty nice - appeared here 4-5 years ago. THAT Onyx car went to Australia I think.
Always makes me wonder why KF did not make 2 door Dragons. Historically, a manufacturer's flagship cars have been convertibles and 2 door models. Yet all Dragons are 4 door.

Upon further review, I see it has '53 horn button and dash so it's a '53. It does have '51 wheel covers on it. I point these things out at the risk of being called a "Kaiser cop"

Is that a 54 engine since it's red, not green???

Kaiser did make Dragon club coupes in 1951. I looked at one that Jack Edward had for sale many years ago that Rudy ended up with. Another was advertised for sale here a couple of years ago. I still remember the thick carpeting lining the trunk area in Jacks car. I don't understand why they were not popular with the public but few regular coupes were sold as well and Kaiser stopped production of the coupes after 1952.

Look closely at the engine...just the head is red. Looks like someone did a swap.
