Title: 1949 Kaiser Engine Paint
Post by: JoeKeys2010 on March 06, 2017, 08:45:20 AM
Looking to paint a motor before dropping it into my 1949 Kaiser.  I can have some matched and mixed locally but it is not engine paint (high temp).  The last time I painted a block I did not use high temp paint and had no problem but thought if I could get engine paint in the right color I do it right this go around.  Anyone have a source for light green engine paint?

Bill Hirsch sells the right color light green for the 49-50 cars with the 2 bbl carburetor. If your car has a single barrel carb, then battleship gray is correct and just about any good paint will work.
