Clutch chatter is usually caused by either oil on the disk or an adjustment problem. A worn disk will chatter too, but slipping will usually be noticed first when a disk is worn.

The thrust bearing today is probably sold only as part of a main bearing set. The sets are sold in standard size and various undersizes  to fit reground crankshafts .  10,20 and 30 thousandths undersize are probably available. Years ago the bearings were sold individually. They also used to sell 01 and 02 thousandths undersize rod and main bearings. Try some of the venders in the club.

Did you ever get them changed out? I have a knock in my engine under load but not at idle and I'm leaning towards the thrust bearing because I can also move the crank front to back some.
If you have fixed it how hard was it to swap them out and could you do it with the engine in the car?
