I didn't think specials had the wrap-a-round rear window.  Isn't that a Manhattan?

For the 1954s there is an early Special and a late Special.  The early Specials were made from leftover '53 Manhattans which did not have the wrap around rear window.  The late Special is the type shown in this ad and it does have the wrap around rear window, same as the '54 Manhattan.

So how does the late Special differ from the Manhattans?
