Title: areo wont start

1953 aero wont start. the generator light wont come on, preventing starting can I buypass light and use a amp gauge ? or any other fix thanks John

My question would be are you getting power to the coil and points ?

Does the starter crank the engine and not fire up or does the starter not crank the engine?

aero wont start, power to coil in and out cranks good no spark at plugs and coil will pull dist and check condener and points  thanks John
