Greetings...I'm on the hunt for a rebuild kit for the 161...tons out there for the 134... struck out on Evilbay. Really only need the drive gear as the teeth are a bit worn, but would like to have a kit on the shelf.
Regards!

My understanding on a rebuild is that the end plate also gets milled. Mine showed minor wear on one side of the gears and when I asked the shop about it they said it was common and that milling the plate was part of the build to re-tighten tolerances.
I sent mine in to Egge and it came back with hot flow rate specs, 1.2gl per min, 42psi low, 50psi high........... whatever those pump speeds were I don't know.

Thank you for the info MarkH...I did read awhile ago about replacing the cover as they warp. If my patience runs out after a few months I'll be sending it to them just to get it out of the way. Until then, the hunt is on:-)

The 226 pump had the problem with the cover warping. The 161 unit doesn't share the issue...but it's probably not a bad idea to be sure all surfaces are true.

Thank you for the clarification:-) I did drop it at my machine shop to check it just in case. Since I did I'm hoping an NOS pops up:-)
