Title: 1953 Willys Aero Falcon in NW Ohio
Post by: jbailey on August 04, 2017, 02:07:31 PM
This Aero Falcon looks very sharp.  Even the drivers side floor mat and foot pedals look good.  There are 2 switches on the dash I don't recognize.  I am wondering if they are fancy toggle switches.  This car has the gold 50th anniversary W" on the trunk lid but not the painted "W" on the hubcaps.

The toggle switches aren't factory. Under the hood are extra red plastic wires...they probably have something to do with the switches. My guess is one leads to an electric fuel pump.

Thanks for posting this. It's the only other Aero I've seen with my interior. Door panel colors, piping & patterns, seat fabrics & vinyl, piping....... all the same. Mine is an "early" '54 Lark, trim code 101 if I remember right.

Nice ride. In addition to the toggles, there is an aftermarket horn button on the bottom of the dash. Many people give up on the goofy horn set-up on Aeros. Should probably have a gold "W" in the grille as well, depending on VIN.
