Title: '54 Kaiser convertible
Post by: Gordie on April 22, 2010, 11:09:07 PM
Hi, the new June edition of Hemmings Classic Car magazine has a picture of a 1954 Kaiser that someone made into a convertible.  The picture was taken thru a chain link fence in Redmond CA back in 1981.  It May be Eric Gordon's car as it is black and has a very ratty top at the time of the photo was made.  He sold his car and lost it for over twenty years and is now restoring it again.  Did anyone else see the photo?

My only concern was the comment about the car being perhaps a factory experimental job, which it was not.

Yes Gordie... I did see the car and sent a note to Hemmings with Eric's contact info.  The giveaway that it is Eric's car is the front bumper.   I'm sure it's the only 54 in existence with
that kind of a front bumper.   I hope Eric subscribes to Hemmings CC and has seen the picture.
