Another sound western car project. I am guessing he just made up the asking price of $1175 but after 28 days there is no interest.

A good start.  Some of the obvious projects/parts cars found recently have been tough to look at, clearly too far gone.

The seller here could drop his price to $350 though and I still doubt anyone buys it.   Cost to transport would be $2000 for me, and so a lot of these western cars sit.  (Not just because of me but generally the cost to get them to our garages).

True. I never saw one in that condition ever bring more that $1173.50  ;)

Yea I know, $1175? Kind of like $1199 because they want it to look cheaper.    I keep looking at that color, looks like an interesting silverish-Green as opposed to the normal Green, as seen on the interior.  Sure there is serious fade, but on the non fade areas I don't see the usual Green we see so often from 1951 to 1954.

Might have to go look at the color charts.  If that was a Green-Silver color, then that would look great new or restored, on this body.

Looked at the color charts in the Last Onslaught.  My page 271 shows all the codes for ALL the years and no breakout so almost impossible to tell.

I would have to see the plate.
