Does anyone know how to find lost cars? I was told I had to sell my 1952 Henry J Vagabond years ago in Las Vegas NV, and now would like to get it back. I can’t find the present owner, and the KFOCI registry still has it in my name.
The Serial Number is K524-1047318. It had a continental kit, and the Paint is the beautiful Saddle Bronze Metallic (235).
Does anyone know about this car? Can anyone, or does anyone know how to trace cars (maybe in official records)?
(If you find this car no one will ask how it was done.)
Is anyone else in this predicament?

If this notice does not work and if you are a member of KFOCI try putting a free ad in the Bulletin as it goes out to all members. Many members are aware of similar cars that are like the ones that they own. Unfortunately the registries are only as accurate as the information that they receive from new owners.

Dixon,
You’re still on the 1952 H J list. So New Owner did not update or You May have a clue of Who has it Now.
Be patient it took Me 7 Mo. to find Our Original Dragon after not knowing it’s whereabouts for 15 Years. Owner didn’t want to sell. So let’s remain Friends, I have a chance to buy a twin.
It was a rare Color combination All Vinyl Dragon. Green & White Top Poplin not Bambu.
This was late 70’s so no computers. I desided to work on it a Year, then continue looking but I was lucky.
I must say Everyone was friendly & helped with any tips in this wonderful Club.

Thanks all for the encouragement in finding my Henry J Vagabond. I sold it in Las Vegas in about 1997 or '98 so I have been patient. Since it is still registered to me in the Club, I assume that the new owner is not a member - somewhat disheartening.
I do hope it has not been crushed or abused as it was a beautiful car (in the eyes of a Kaiser-type at least). It was a 6 w/ OD, Continental kit and dinosaur vinyl, it had been completely rebuilt and rewired, everything worked and I used to drive it to work. It just needed paint and upholstery.
If anyone sees this car please let me know.

If You have a Picture or 2 might help.
If You think of anything unique may be helpful.
You did notice The H J & Alstate Forum’s is a good place to ask.
