If you go on the site "eBay" and go to auto parts and Kaiser-Frazer you will find thousands of parts offered on line by various sellers. Perhaps one of our members knows of an exact email address of one of these suppliers. One is rudyskfparts@sbcglobal.net

I also would like to know, can I fill engine with latest spec engine oil or must I stick to the original spec oil

During my posting at Ford Motor Company's Cleveland Engine Plant #2, I had the opportunity to meet one of Ford's lubrication specialists and asked him the same question about oils. He recommended Quaker State or Shell Rotella type oils. These still have good trace elements of Zinc which the older engines need as part of lubrication. While straight weight oil (consult the shop manual for grades, based on temperature) was originally specified, 10W-30 (SAE standard) will work ok.
Some will say non detergent oils should be used rather than degergent, but he didn't think it would make a difference in the long run. The detergent oils will open up areas that may have been plugged over the years, especially if prior owner(s) used oil with a bit of parrifin in them.
This is only an opinion. I would recommend you contact the customer service departments of the companies mentioned (both are units of Royal Dutch Shell) for better info and something "official".

In regards to engine oil for old flat tappet engines it is necessary to add zinc such as ZDP or use a racing oil which already have zinc added. Zinc is a pressure additive necessary to make flat tappet camshafts live. Actually those engines don't don't have much valve spring pressure and would probably survive, but why take the chance. Tom.

I have opened the cover on the gearbox to inspect the gears. no rust was detected and all gears still looking great.
I also serviced the engine. i removed the oil pan to inspect and clean the oil that sludge up in the years. The original lock wires on the mainbearing cap bolts is still attached. So that gives the reason that the engine is still original inside and wasn't repaired. All seemed to be fine
