Too far for me to even consider bidding.

The 53 is a hardtop and looks very restorable. It's sporting a Dodge slant six air cleaner too! The 55 has the 226 and standard shift with OD - the best combination in my opinion. In a car as light as an Aero, it should move along nicely. The 54 Eagle is probably the roughest of the three and is still in better shape than anything you'll find here in the rust belt.
The Jeepster looks like an easy restoration. It's had a repaint and the engine's a swap since the f-head six wasn't available until the very end of production, but who cares!
I'm just glad they're for sale on the other end of the country. I'd hate to break my self imposed rule of no more projects!
And, let's not forget the Powell trucks.

The cars sold for $500, $500, and $450. The Jeepster brought $6,100.
I would have loved to bought the '53, but I can't fit a 10 hour one way drive into my schedule right now.
If the buyer of that car happens to read this: Let's make a deal!! :D

The Powell trucks were basically give-aways with all fetching no better than $700 apiece. Just goes to show you - rarity doesn't always mean value.

At the Hackenberger auction here in Ohio last fall I watched several Aeros and Henry Js bring bigger money. All were in much worse condition but the buyers all thought they were worth the money. I left my KF business card in a few of the cars and got calls from a couple of the buyers...mostly looking for parts.
