Did a test run of the newly reassembled engine a few days ago and all was well. Grandsons came over yesterday evening and we bolted it in.

I like the disc brakes. I probably missed any posts you may have made explaining them. Briefly, what did you use and what did you have to do to fit them? What did you do about the master cylinder for disc brakes? Did you make a split, dual piston system? Vacuum assist power?

This has not been a project that has gone fast, the post on the brakes was years ago. I used the stock master cylinder with the check valve removed, plumbed in an adjustable proportioning valve & a 10lb back pressure valve in the line to the rear. I have a high mounted reservoir so didn't see the need for a front 2lb valve.
Also, I swapped in slightly longer L&R jeep studs (M38?) due to disc rotor hats being thicker than drums

The dual carb setup looks great too Mark. Is that an aftermarket manifold, or a Brazilian production item?

Thanks, it's a Brazil head with US Zenith 228 carbs set up like Brazil Webber 228's (same carb) with US linkages.

Did you have to machine the hub? How much? What did your machine shop charge?
Was any kind of spacer required?

Thanks Mark. If I would have paid attention to the second picture, I would have realized (remembered) that the 'intake' is integral with the head.
You have done a great job detailing that engine.

Don't know if my brackets would cross to a Nash, I know he fitted them to an Aero suspension assembly I shipped to him.
The hub flanges needed turn down about 20 thousandths to nest in the rotor hats, cost me $20.
I had to grind a small amount off the outside corners on the calipers, and used about a 1/8th spacer on the caliper pins rather than grind them shorter.
