Title: Darrin Featured in 1955 Movie "A Life at Stake"
Post by: eaglerock75 on October 24, 2018, 03:25:28 PM
I was watching a movie the other night that prominently features a Darrin.  The title of the movie is "A Life at Stake", made in 1955 and starring Angela Lansbury.  It is a black and white movie but the car appears to be white.  The Darrin is hers and you see several great close up shots that show details of the car very well.  At one point she is plotting to kill the lead man in the movie and they pretend to almost push the Darrin off a cliff, but he saves himself and the car at the last second.  Probably considered a "B" movie at the time but it was a lot of fun watching the movie and the best part is you can see it free if you are able to access YouTube.  Just search in YouTube for the title of the movie.  Hope this hasn't been mentioned before, but thought someone might enjoy seeing it.  Cheers!  Jim

Never heard of that one. I'll watch for it on TCM.  Thanks!

I saw this movie years ago. At about 38 minutes into the movie there is a scene where you can see the seats. The seats are the cross upholstery not the parallel pleats which indicates an early car, all white with red upholstery.
