Title: Restoring a Virginian
Post by: william shippy on November 21, 2018, 09:29:23 AM
Will the "wind wing" and the "windshield" seals for the 49,50 4 door fit on a Virginian?
And the back windows and backdoor windows, what do we use for those?

When KF made the 49,50 cars did they used basically the same bodies, 4 door or hardtop ?

Thanks William S.

Windshield glass gasket is the same as 4 door sedan. Vent window and rear glass are different and I don't know of any source for those gaskets.

Thanks, I wonder how close the front wind wing gasket is to the 4 door?
What are people who have Virginians and convertibles doing for the wind wings?

I think I read where Ben Halkos 1950 Frazer Manhattan Hardtop, when it was restored
the restorer used a modified gasket for the back window from another brand of car.
