There appears to be the AC knob at the right end of the row of things below the edge of the dash, but I did not see the "air conditioner" heater box under the dash.

It has a "Southwind" gas heater under the dash where the normal KF "Air Conditioner" would be.  That's a cool (irony I'm sure) old accessory.

In 1946 and into 1947, paperrwork from a couple former K-F dealers suggested that because the factory heaters were hard to come by until around summer 1947, they put South Wind units in their cars to make a sale in cold weather.  I don't know if they "recalled" South Wind equipped cars they sold to install the factory unit.  All the cars I have seen with heaters had factory units.

This is from a '47 Kaiser I saw in a salvage yard a few years ago.
