Found this on Auction Zip. The description is below. The seller says it should bring between $2-3K.

Item 544. Scarce 1951 Kaiser-Frazer carved wood studio styling model, together with a salesman booklet, 26" l. These scale models were the first step to review each years new model in three dimension, templates were cut from the original drawings to guide the wood carver, only one model was made each year, these are made of clay today.        Est. $2,000-3,000

That's not something you're likely to see again. Quite an auction list too. I used to collect toy boats, tin, wood and a few early plastic ones. Looks like the hobby is doing quite good from the looks of the price estimates.

The new owner of this model paid paid $2928.00 for it including auction buyers premium of 25%.  I hope that we get to see it one day.

The selling auction house includes Noel Barrett, a regular on PBSs Antiques Roadshow. He once appraised a tin carousel for a friend and his estimate, $12K, was spot on as that's what it fetched at auction several months later.

I used to have a similar styling model of a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr.  It was a two door on one side and a four door on the other.
