Title: henry hood latch/striker

HI !!  was working on my henry and I noticed a part missing to the front of the hood latch, I have attached a picture of a car circled in green (not mine) and wondered what this does and also if someone had a picture of the other parts on the hood side. also if anyone had these parts for sale!  thank you!! ;D[img]

What you're pointing at is not a hood latch striker, it appears to be the terminal block for the head light wires or the plate behind.  Is that what you mean? As far as I know that plate really servers no purpose except possibly to protect or cover the space that may have been left due to manufacturing processes.  Here's another pick of that area up close. Does this help ID anything for you?

yes!! thank you!! I could not tell from the pictures I had!! ;) :D ;D
but I still do need a picture of the striker and hook on the hood side as someone took it apart and I cannot figure out the spring
