Our convention begins on Sunday evening with our traditional ice cream social. It is going to be a fun time and I hope to see many of you there. It is not too late to sign up.

This is a voting year so please post the results after the business meeting. Car pix would be great too!

Any one going to post a picture?
-
Oh yes...2020....please be near Ohio🤞
-
2020 will be hosted by the Western Division - the last location I heard discussed was possibly in Oregon. 2021 will bring the meet back east to the Eastern Division....maybe in PA.
-
2020 will be in Newberg Oregon at George Fox University. Will be a great time!!
-
2021 will be in Rochester NY
-
Locations for National Conventions are defined in the club Constitution. To make access easier for members in the various divisions, each year the event is held in a different part of the country. Using the present situation as an example this year was in the Midwest Division territory. Next Year (2020) will be Western Division's turn, with 2021 in the Eastern Division (Rochester NY was the only city presented at the 2019 event as a location in the Eastern Division). Next year (2020) the Eastern Division will firm up location and details on 2021 and event ideas will be presented for the 2022 convention to be in the Midwestern Division.

National is Always so much Fun no matter what Location...

It would be nice to have a comprehensive wrap up post.
There are some photos being posted on Facebook (Kaiser/Frazer Automobile Page) but the full "report" will be in the Fall issue of the Quarterly.

Look again ~ there are several, posted over several days

Not on Facebook. 2 of the 3 clubs have focused now on Facebook. We are only left to speculate what happened, how many attended, new cars never before seen. OK
-
Here's one for you.

I shunned FB for way-too-long.
I now use it to support my hobbies...KF, jukeboxes, Wheel Horse tractors, GSP dogs, pickleball, etc.--invaluable for exchange of information and help.
I DO NOT use it to tell the world personal info such as the length of my middle finger or every time a pass gas sideways.
-
Thanks Jerry. That’s quite a detailed engine bay.

All these details ~ and more ~ will be included in the Fall 2019 Quarterly

Get a free Hotmail, mail.com or any other freebie email account just for FB and sign on. You can use any name you like, I used my car. You'll be glad you did.

I am probably the last one to get home from the meet as I arrived just last night to CA. I left Granbury Friday morning and got to St. Joseph MO that night only to find a baseball convention in place and not a hotel or motel room available anywhere in town so had to sleep in my car. In Nebraska the lining came off of my front brake pad on Saturday night and no garages open so decided to drive on and nothing open Sunday either so decided to wing it and head for home as I figured that the rotor was ruined by then. It was a little scary coming down from 10,000 feet in the Colorado mountains as the brakes were making a terrible noise and shudder when I had to stop but I made it and now have to assess the damage to my 20 year old Plymouth van. That great meet made it all worthwhile. It was really fun meeting so many of you for the first time and now to start planning for a unique meet in Oregon next year.

Glad you made it home safely Gordie. I arrived home Saturday morning. I never saw the cloud or a raindrop all week till I was just 25 miles from home when I hit down pour so strong I had to pull off and wait it out for about 15 minutes. All good when I arrived home.

Hope Everyone made it Home OK.
It was so much Fun as Usual to See Each & Everyone of You for a Fun Time & Fellowship.
