is there a special tool to remove those LARGE Phillips head bolts on the outboard side? you know, the ones without any clearance for a tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I bought a large, cheap Phillips head from Harbor freight. Heated it with a torch, bent and "Forged"one to fit
-
You could use a flat bar and drill a hole through it - weld in a Phillips head tool bit --- easier to hold

I have had this Happen before. I Used a Large Adjustable Wrench Upright, large Pipe or Screwdriver on Handle Hole.
I also spray WD 40 & let penetrate threads. Don’t know How this happens? Could be Temperature when You tighten it ?

THANKS TO ALL
