Title: OD transmission for 52 HJ ?

I am looking for a 3 speed OD transmission for my 52 Henry J Corsair Deluxe  which has the 6 cylinder 161 engine.

When I got my HJ (1977), bought without trans or OD, owner forgot where he had taken it for rebuild? He died a week later!
Went to a local trans shop, got a Rambler trans and a Studebaker OD.  Complete interchange, no problems!

I would also suggest you check with Robert Howard.  Hs is the manager of the South Central Region (which includes Texas) and may be able to find something you can use closer to home.  Terry is in Michigan.

Check how close Fastenal stores are at both ends, they will ship big/heavy items along with their daily UPS shipments. I shipped a cylinder head from the midwest to the east coast reasonably through them.
