Interesting article from Hemmings about Ford in Brazil. It mentions the Willys connection.

It's interesting that Ford used the Aero F-head in the Brazil Maverick. That version had some interesting modifications and produced either 130 or 135hp. Not bad, and quite a long run for an engine that started out decades earlier as a 70hp flathead.
