HELLO ALL,
I AM REPLACING THE GAS TANK SENDING UNIT IN MY DELUXE AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE TANK.i DO NOT
HAVE MY SERVICE MANUAL YET.
ARE THERE STRAPS THAT HOLD IT IN PLACE?
IF SO ARE THEY AVAILABLE FOR REPLACEMENT IF NEEDED.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

51 Willowrun ,
Welcome , You have come to Right Place for Information. Club Gas Tanks are Number One.
Using All Caps is like Shouting . In Broadcasting You type All Caps for News Copy & Commercial Copy. So this I found Out soon Don’t use All Caps.

Didn't even realize Caps Lock was on thanks for the head's up.

Attached are some pages from the 1951 Kaiser-Frazer Shop Manual on removal of the gas tank, fuel tank sender and instllation of the tank on a 1951 Kaiser (pages 63-65) as well as the fuel system diagnostics in the book (page 88). If you are looking for "local" assistance, I would suggest you contact Carl Hering, Eastern Division Manager for names of other people in your area with cars. Officers and Managers for Regions (portions of divisions) are listed in each Bulletin and Quarterly.

We're in Vermont, visit Bridgeport, Ct often. ( or did ). Three bolts hold the gas tank up. Be sure to undo the gas line first ( and of course drain the gas). Did you get a new sending unit from Chris in NJ?

I bought it on Ebay from KF parts if that is Chris , 89.00 nice part being installed next week.
