Title: engine oil additives

My 1947 Frazer has several small but annoying engine oil leaks which drip after the vehicle is parked.  Short of resealing the engine, I have been looking at some engine oil leak sealing additives.I am hesitant over adding stuff to an old engine (83k miles).  The car basically runs well and total oil loss is a bit over a quart over the course of the summer.  Has anyone used, recommend,or not recomment the use of these products.

i have used everal...snake oil
1 quart/ summer...leave it alone

I have been told Buy Vintage Mechanics Our Seals will Drip One Drop to Keep Seal Lubed. For example the Dual Range Hydramatic Transmission rear Seal.

If you can find a KF product that doesn't leak, I like to see it.  A quart over a summer... not even enough to bother with in my opinion.  Easier and cheape to add a quart than to try to seal it up.  I agree, the stuff that's supposed to stop leaks is worthless.  Never saw that ever work.
