Title: 49 fuel pump?

What electric fuel pump should i use and whats the pressure?Also does it run on 6 volts?49 kaiser deluxe

Low pressure only! Less than 5 PSI

Here is a link to someone selling the proper pressure 6 Volt electric fuel pumps is you are so inclined. Even if you have a mechanical pump, an electric is a good idea as a backup especially on a pre-53 Kaiser or a Frazer.

is there a safety setup in case there's an accident to keep gas from pumping every where?

No, there isn't. But it should be fairly simple to install an oil pressure solenoid switch (hidden) similar in concept to what was on the Studebaker Avantis. In other words, you hold down the switch until the pressure is high enough to maintain it, or another method, just turn the starter over until there is pressure which turns on the gas pump.
