i have a 52 willys aero ace, i have stripped inside to clean and get rust out. looking for parts, both front and both back lights, both front blinkers, hood latch, front bench seat, inside door handle and window knob.question, is there another make that will adapt to willys, to replace original parts.i am just starting out, any help will be greatfull, thanks.

If you're not interested in going back to stock, the Aero is easily customuzed. With the relatively flat, wide floor, using a modern seating arrangement is easy. For the door and window handles, any 50's make of car with square post mount will work. Chrysler stuff is real close. As for headlights/parking lights/tail lights, all are unique to the Aero, however, you can use 1951 Kaiser parking lights on your car as they're a close match.
The hood latch is also unique to the Aero.
Keep an eye on ebay as parts for these are more common than one would think.

I was in Longmont, CO last month and talked to Steve Tebo 303 525 5303, who has 4 '52, '53 Willys Aeros, all stoed indoors, needing restoration, and lots of Aero parts, all in good shape. He might be willing to sell what you need. Good luck.
