I have a 1952 Henry J. My car has no outside script on the fenders.I have seen cars with no script,Corsair,Corsair Deluxe.My car is a 52,6 cyl,straight drive,no o/d.My ser.# is K-524
1202437..Body 5244..number 2780.Can anyone tell me if I have a plain Jane 52,Deluxe or a Corsair Deluxe?
Any help will be appreciated.

According to the model (K524) and the fact your serial number begins with "12" you should be looking at a later series (with the non-51 HJ front grille, etc) Corsair Deluxe and should have the "Corsair Deluxe" script...4-cylinder K523 models were Corsairs in the later version. Tail lights should be in the crowns of the quarter panels not round lights on the rear deck between the quarters and the license plate.
I say later version because unfinished 1951 Henry J automobiles were run out as 1952 HJ Vagabonds. They have "vagabond" script and retained their 1951 serial numbers with a K523 or K524 prefix. When the later series (the actual 1952 platform) went into production, K-F started serial numbers with 1200001 to help separate the runs.
