I have recently acquired a '48 Frazer that has been stored in a Kansas barn since 1960. I plan to do a restoration but am having trouble getting past step 1, replacing/repairing the brakes.
I cannot get the rear hub/drum assembly off the axle. I have been using a hub puller and have added heat with a propane torch but nothing wants to give.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a good chance that if the emergency brake was set when parked, the brake shoes have oxidized and/or fused to the inside of the drum. You would have to use a long, flat bladed screw driver to try and leverage the drums off, as if it was a chisel.
We had this happen to a car many years ago and we had to wedge and pound.
