Thanks for sharing the nice story.  The Frazer Manhattens were indeed the ultimate post war cars and fortunately many like your friends still survive for us to drool over!

A friend of mine in Colorado sent that article to me. He has previously sent me a photo of a Kaiser/Frazer neon sign still on the top front of an old dealer that is now some sort of art collection shop. The sign was not for sale. I cannot recall where it is in Colorado, but somewhere in the southwestern part of the state I think.

Those five foot diameter signs are not seen very often on an original dealer site and I would imagine it is beginning to show some age after sixty years exposure to the elements.  I saw one for sale at Hershey last year that had over two thirds of the bottom of the sign rotted off.  The seller did not have much to offer but a good one is still quite collectible.
