Title: Service Bulletins - Willys and K-W
Post by: pnw_oldmags on March 24, 2011, 03:12:52 PM
I am assembling a list of Willys and Kaiser-Willys Service bulletins.
Has anyone out there already assembled this list they could share?
Does anyone have a collection of these bulletins?

There are lots of interesting things in them like 54 Manhattan info, supercharger stuff and Darrin Stuff!!

Possibly any to share as my collection only has some of them presently.
Thanks for the help.

I thought you knew Ben Walker did that a number of years ago. He wore out 2 scanners making images of each Bulletin.

I have those on CD from Ben but don't feel it is right to post them on the Internet as he sells the images on CD.
If I post them I will scan the Bulletins myself.  Would not want to cause any problems.

The 1952 model year version of the service bulletins were mostly "round-ups" with several items per bulletin for different models rather than individual topics like K-F used.

Willys Motors Service Bulletin #301 (Aug 19, 1955) has a numerical index of service bulletins. It will cross-reference the K-W number to the old K-F number. I do not have a list for the pre-KW bulletins from Willys-Overland, the highest numbered bulletin I have is #53-29 (July 23, 1953) dealing with the Hydramatics on the F-head. I only have about ten or so of each company. And then there were sales bulletins as well. I can get you a copy of #301 if you need it, but if you have Ben's list, I'm pretty sure that's complete.

I have been working from KW270 as the Numerical Index.
I will lookup KW301 from Ben's Disc.  That may create some clarity.
