Title: pillar light covers

How do I remove the inside pillar light covers to check the bulbs? The lights don't work on either side.

If this is the '54-55 Kaiser, carefully pry the metal casing off (maybe a little top ans bottom) to release two prongs that hold it to the pillar post but be careful as the two-wire connector might come loose depending upon the length of wire. Then you will see the bulb.
