If bondo has been used sparingly on the body but applied almost perfectly and the car kept under excellent storage conditions how long is it likely that the bondo will last? I realize there are a lot of variables that will affect the life of the bondo but would appreciate any thoughts. Would you buy such a car if the bondo wasn't visible?
Thank you,
Johny

Almost all show cars will have a very thin coat of body filler in them. This will, when sanded, give you the very smooth finish that every expects to see. I know some people use fill coat primer instead to achieve the same results. Body filler has been around a long time with no cracking. When the body has been properly prepped with primer the filler should last a life time. OK 1 to 100 years or more.
