Title: Which engine diagnostic equipment do you use?
Post by: 84RabbitGTI on September 16, 2012, 11:50:03 PM
I would like to get a tach and dwell meter for the working on our '51. Any recommendations? I SEEM to have it set correctly after I borrowed my mechanic's dwell meter, but I would like one for myself.  If you have a working unit for sale, that would be nice, too.

There are various "engine analyzers" around that host dwell, RPM, volts, amps, etc. and perhaps you could check on ebay.   Or JC Whitney catalog in Chicago.

I didn't pay close attention to the voltage, when I get to the shop I will look. I think its 12 volt. I bought it about 8 years ago or so.
