Beware of this one Don -

It does not look original, perhaps a piece of bent metal someone rigged. Look at the screw that holds it on - a slotted head when the other is a philips. Also has a large washer around it to wedge it on, further evidence it is not an orginal one. It will probably work just fine but if you're picky and going for originality / authenticity, this is not going to get you there.
I believe AZ_HJ found that some of the clips which hold  the fuel / brakes lines on are the same.
I can't find the thread but perhaps if he see this he'll post it again.

Thanks Lowell,
I had emailed this guy about the clip, he originally wanted 16.00 plus shipping, so of course I had to pass on that. I was able to modify a door panel clip, it's not stock but it works just fine, and it looks much better than the one on EBay.

You can get the clip for the hood Prop (etc) from Restoration Specialties. It is Part Number B-1255 at $2.00 each.

Thanks Fid for posting the pictures for me and answering my question regarding Map Light on 1949 Kaiser.

I did a search in that catalog for 1255 and there were a few hits and eventually it did find that clip. Perhaps the search method was different? It shows up as B-1255 on page 227 of that catalog.

Please note that the 1952 and 1953 Henry J had a different Hood Prop Clip. The one used on the 1951 Henry J and 1952 Vagabond HJ broke to easily.

Correct, the one on the '53 (don't know about the '52 but it's likely the same) is fastened with two screws, and while it did not break as easily as the '51 style, it still broke easily just the same!
